Types of travelers:
If your answers were mostly B, it’s a strong bet you are:
The Action Traveler-Chances are you’ll enjoy an action packed vacation full of outdoorsy activity, and interactive entertainment with opportunities to socialize with like-minded travelers. You are the type of traveler who doesn’t spend much time in their hotel room, except to sleep after a day of play and recreation. You may possibly one of those thrill seeker types. Spending time in museums or lounging about is not your cup of tea. Hiking in the mountains, waterskiing, a day riding roller coasters at an amusement park or crewing a sail boat would suit you well. For some of you, base jumping or parasailing might even fit the bill.
Travel Tip: Before leaving home, make sure your health insurance is up to date. Try to plan a couple of days at the end of your vacation to recuperate and rest before jumping back into the daily grind. As much as you don’t want to slow down, having to call in sick your first two days back is likely to really annoy your boss and co-workers. By the way- If you do get a whim to go on a guided tour, an outdoor walking tour would be a good bet for you.

If you chose mostly A’s, you are most likely:
The Explorer-When you travel you will probably be driven to seek out museums, historical sites, monuments, and ruins and will consult your guide book often. You’ll enjoy asking lots of questions and will want to know the background info of everything you are seeing. You most likely will be drawn to mingle with the locals and find out what you can about their way of life. Guided tours will suit you just fine if the tour guide is very knowledgeable. You may also be one of those Indiana Jones type folks who won’t mind crawling into caves or getting a little dirty to find what they seek. You won’t really enjoy activities that aren’t cerebrally challenging for very long. Such things as riding roller coasters or hanging out at the pool bar won’t hold your interest. You won’t spend much time in the hotel room either, except to sleep and plan the next day’s itinerary. “More, I must see more, I must see it all!” will be your motto.
Travel Tip: Be absolutely sure to bring a comfortable pair of walking shoes. Don’t plan every minute of every day; allow time to be spontaneous and experience things that weren’t a part of your itinerary-don’t worry you’ll still have time to see everything you planned on. To experience culture, history and enjoy some leisure at the same time, spend a couple of hours at the opera or symphony.

If you picked C for most of your answers, then you must be:
The Escape Seeker-What will you like to do on vacation? Whatever comes to mind at any particular moment; you won’t have daily itineraries packed with scheduled activities. You have had it with schedules and appointments in your day to day life, and now you just want to relax and enjoy some free time. Unlike the Action Traveler and the Explorer, you will spend a lot of time in the hotel, sleeping late in the room, lounging by the pool and maybe hanging out at the hotel’s bar. If there is a beach nearby you will rarely leave it to do anything else, except maybe to get a massage and mud wrap. You probably just want to slow down and live the life the life of leisure you fantasize about all year until till your 2 weeks of freedom finally arrive. You will eventually have to go back to your busy, stressful life, so savor your vacation. It’s okay. You’ve earned it.

Travel Tip: Your perfect vacation would take place at a resort hotel. Whether it be seaside, lakeside or in the mountains, a beautiful natural setting will work wonders to soothe your soul. Many resorts offer spa services and other amenities that are completely geared toward pampering their guests. If possible leave your cell phone and laptop at home. Do not let anyone trick you into feeling guilty for not spending your time productively-R&R is productive. It keeps you sane!
